The peach is a fruit with a sweet taste and delicate aroma. Yellow, red and a velvety skin, of Chinese origin, with a high consumption in the north central and central areas of the country, supplying the market between the months of November until the end of April.

It has been present for many years in foreign markets. At first it was sent to neighboring countries and progressively to more distant places. Thus, today it reaches North America, Europe and Asia.

Benefits

Peaches are widely used to make sweets, cakes, jams and juices. It is not a very caloric fruit, as each unit has, on average, 50 calories.

The peach is rich in vitamin C and pro-vitamin A. It is also a fruit with a good amount of fiber, since for every 100 grams of peach, there are 1.5 grams of fiber.

It is a very juicy fruit, since almost 90% of its weight is made up of water.

In addition to vitamins C and A, peaches also have B Complex vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9 and B12), in addition to vitamins K and E.
